The operating layer behind the ecosystem
Bringing companies together means being able to run them. pcdOS is how we do that: sourcing, due diligence, commitments and follow-up in one place, rather than scattered across spreadsheets and inboxes.
One place for everything we run
Buy-and-build stands or falls on visibility. pcdOS holds three things together.
A view of the market
One file per company
Follow-up that continues
The work that otherwise slips
Four tasks that fragment on their own as a group grows, and that happen here in one place.
Sourcing and qualification
Candidates are assessed against fixed criteria, so a conversation picks up where the last one left off.
Building the file
Documents, decisions and commitments land in one file, with a trail back to the source.
Commitments between companies
Cooperation between portfolio companies gets an owner and a date, instead of an email that sinks.
Accountability
What the board and financiers see comes from the same source the team steers on daily.
What pcdOS is not
This page exists because it matters who sits on the other side of the table. To head off any confusion: three things pcdOS explicitly is not.
- Not a product you buypcdOS is PCD's internal tooling. It is not sold, not licensed and not offered as a service.
- Not a layer underneath your softwareJoining CareHub does not put your product 'on pcdOS'. Your software stays yours and keeps running the way it runs.
- Not a replacement for your own systemsCompanies in the ecosystem keep their own administration, their own tooling and their own customer relationships.
Why this is on the site at all
Because a buyer with an operating system asks different questions, answers faster, and keeps to commitments that are written down somewhere. You notice that in the process, not in a brochure.
- Written criteria
- One file
- Follow-up that continues
